About Campaign

The Asaase Foundation has donated some relief items to victims of the Bogoso-Appiatse explosion in the Western Region.

The items included sanitary pads, diapers, water, cereals, and toiletries to help alleviate the plight of the locals who lost personal belongings and buildings in the explosion.

The General manager of the Asaase Broadcasting Company, Prince Moses Ofori-Atta said the move is part of the company’s humanitarian responsibility to the people of Appiatse.

Donation Details

“It’s our moral duty to be part of this to bring some relief to the people who were affected by this disaster and the Asaase Foundation is made for such events,” he said.

Receiving the items, the director-general of the National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO), Eric Nana Agyemang-Prempeh expressed his gratitude to the Asaase Foundation and lauded Asaase News for the timely updates since the disaster occurred.
