About Campaign

The Asaase Foundation will support the cost of dialysis treatment for at least two kidney patients including a child, the president Kojo Mensah said.

Handing over the second dialysis machine to the Bono Regional Hospital in Sunyani on Friday (12 August), Mensah said the foundation will support the beneficiaries for at least three months.

Donation Details

The foundation has so far raised over GHC1 million to support individuals with kidney disease. Among leading sponsors of the Asaase Foundation are KGL FoundationGhana Water Company LtdBank of GhanaGO EnergyGhana EXIM Bank and the Ghana Free Zones Authority.

Kidney disease is one of the major causes of death in the world. There are several factors for this including lifestyle, lack of public health education, lack of infrastructure and equipment. We are committed to ensuring kidney treatment is accessible for all kidney disease patients across the country by donating and installing dialysis machines, one deprived community at a time. Asaase Foundation has set up dialysis centres in 10 hospitals across 8 regions the country.
